This is a story about a necklace and the benefits of Pinterest for a business.
I celebrated my birthday last week. I won’t say how many candles I had to blow out.
I like to give my husband a handful of gift ideas for me – things that I keep on my ongoing wish list. I had noticed some pretty necklaces scrolling through my Pinterest feed at some point last year.
I clicked on the image you see above to find out more – well, really to see how expensive they were before I added it to my Pinterest Wish List board. When I saw that they were not hundreds of dollars and I might actually want one, I added it to my Wish List Pinterest board. And then I didn’t think another thing about it until a few weeks ago before my birthday when I sent my husband an email with a few birthday gift ideas.
Then, SURPRISE! My husband gifted me with this beautiful necklace for my birthday.
Now, if it hadn’t been for Pinterest, I would have never known about this company Imsmistyle and their cute, affordable jewelry. I would have never received this beautiful necklace to wear, and I wouldn’t be writing this blog post to tell you all about it. This is the power of Pinterest.
Even if you don’t have an e-commerce website, you can still benefit from Pinterest by “pinning” photos from your website. And even better – Blogging is a great way to add fresh new content to your website and have interesting images to “pin” to Pinterest. Pinterest helps drive unique traffic to your website and help your SEO.
