If you have been keeping up with The Creative Stack on Facebook or Twitter, then you know that I have been working with the very talented photographer, Stephanie Egan on a few projects. One of those was a redesign of her logo. Stephanie wanted to redesign her logo to be simple and unique to her. I suggested her signature, as it doesn’t get much more personal than that!
We started with her signing her name a few times with a sharpie pen. I then scanned those in and created vector art from her signature – cleaning up the imperfections, filling in the light areas and making it easy to read when scaled down small. We added the word “photography” and voila! TIP: A logo should always be created as vector art.
Pretty awesome huh? As trade, Stephanie helped me out with some new headshot-type photos for The Creative Stack. Click HERE to view the sneak peeks from the photoshoot on Stephanie’s blog.
